Hoping to crack low 10's & 530+rwhp n/a next week!
Well the the new cam, narrowed 9" & full suspension tune is done, hopefully I'll crack low 10's next weekend if I get the cage & Kirkeys in and tune done early enough next week. I'll be even happier if I break my old 500rwhp n/a with a 530+ n/a. This new cam on my SR 396 is just stupid. Next month with the SuperVic, Nasty fabbed tank & full fuel system I'm shooting to break 550rwhp n/a mark and looking for high 9's n/a, will be tough though! Wish me luck! :eat:

True true...that was realized wayyyy back, we've been working with the weight, the 50 rwhp would never drop any car a full second to begin with lol. The car was a mid to high 10 car before we changed the cam, my best with re-learning to drive it was 11.1 prior the decision to change some major stuff. The expectation now for low 10s is now primarily from the suspension setup, makes a big difference when done right, just hoping to get there, we'll see.

Yeah, best of luck to you...That thing sounds rediculous!!! I thought I was satisfied with my stuff, but now I think I'm going to keep forging ahead...Mrs. ABA383 will just have to deal with it...

hey Brettinator, do you have a website that lists your combo? I am interested in you computer/tuning. I have a 350 SR and I need a serious tune. I am not ready to get the tune yet because I need a few other things first but I am curious how yours is setup.

Interested in the rest of your combo also. Cracking 500 rwhp really isn't all that easy in a LTx car.
As for the combo, it's an all Callies forged SR 396 built by LME with custom heads, full suspension, custom tune, full interior (for now). I did pull the AC...am constantly debating whether to pull it or not.
