hooking up with nitrous

I havent been able to make a full pass down the track on nitrous since I built my car six months ago,I cant spray off the line without seriosly spining the tires. What suspension mods do you guys suggest to help me stick off the line? I have a full 8 point cage boxed sub frame connectors and 28/11.50 et streets set at 17 psi. I was thinking of boxing the lower controll arms and adding 90/10 ratio shocks to the front do you think that will work? As it stands I cant hit the spray untill im like 10-15 ft out of the hole. Also, I havent been able to get bottle pressure over 700 psi because of the cold. What do you guys think it will run if I can stick the launch and use a bottle warmer, baseline is in the sig thanks.

I don't see a torque arm in your sig. I think that would help the car "bite" harder off the line. A set of tubular/boxed control arms wouldn't hurt either. If the car is pretty much straightline-only, you could add an airbag as well.

As for the updated times, isn't the rule of thumb one tenth at the start being worth two tenths at the end? If you can shave a couple of tenths off your 60', you should be able to pull down a 10 sec pass.

First thing, get that pressure down! 12psi or so will get you much better traction...

Ditto on the ET street pressure. Drop it down to 12-13 psi and heat them hard. A torque arm which mounts anyplace other than on the tranny mount will also help a ton.

The LCA's and some brackets will help. Most people I know don't hit it till outta the hole anyway. I got a friend with a 02 SS with heads, cam and true duals running 10.8s on a 150 shot with DR's.
