They both use the exact same layout and design. But I think the Jet-Hot use a slightly thicker metal for better insulation I believe. Plus it comes with their coating. I'd go with Jet-Hot.

Hookers will do the same thing. Replace your motor mounts with some pro-thanes from thunderracing when you do any longtubes, they are like $50 IIRC. I have to reccomend the jet-hots, i wont go into too many details but their customer service is way above and beyond what I expected from a company on the net. The product is top notch as well, i love mine

Jet-Hots all the way!

While their layout isn't exactly the same, Jet-Hot's have thicker flanges, O2 bungs already welded in, and they're already coated inside and out. They're also available with emissions.

I just got my jet-hots yesterday. I took a few pics today. One thing I did notice is that they have a D-shaped port that matches the head. I have been seeing oval ports in all the pics I have seen on here in the install guides I have been reading. I don't know if tahts good for performance, but I would think so.

I have also heard that the jethots have better ground clearance, but can't really back that up. Someone on here may know for sure.

As far as quality...they are VERY nice. I was REALLY impressed. Ultra clean ports, welds and thick flanges.

Here are some pics that I took just a few minutes ago:

Why would he need to replace his motor mounts? I did the Hooker LTs on mine, and had no problems whatsoever.

I can't comment on the Customer Service. I haven't had to call them.

I think you will be pleased with either one. I would say go with which ever one you can get the best price on. The way the GP on jet-hot LTs have been looking it will probably be them.

I got my Jet-Hots for $513 shipped with a group purchase. I haven't had any problems with my slip-tube primary leaking. I know some people have had minor problems.

I believe he's suggesting to replace the motor mounts b/c it will make them easier to get in. Depending on the miles on your car chances are the stock ones have shift or twisted due to age and torque.

The motor torques to one side and can make the fitment hard, mine were pretty busted up but I cleared it by a quarter inch

Thats true they use a slightly thicker metal than HOOKER and you get the Jet Hot coating. A little extra never hurts.

Thanks. Maybe I'll get around to putting in new motor mounts some time. I've still got my originals in there. It'll make for something to do when it gets a little bit warmer outside.
