I thought about taking the flange's loose and stacking a ring of jb weld around the top to stop it but i dunno. any help out there guys?

Is the installation complete with the cat and exhaust? Are your O2s plugged in? Have you felt/heard any leaks at the flange? Need more info. You certainly don't need to start smearing JB Weld all over your headers.

well it's kinda cleared up a bit i tightened the flange bolts but now it's back firing... possibly too rich? i'm gonna have it scanned tommorow and possibly have it tuned i'm working with someone that might be into tunning it for me but any advise you can give me will be of great help to me. to answer your questions yes o2 are in and plugged i used copper gasket seal on the flange no cat but a solid plate welded to the existing pipe is bolted to the y-flange with copper gasket sealer between them.

what header gaskets did you use? I would recommend Felpro header gaskets. If you are using the paper ones that come with the headers that is a mistake.

You can remove the headers from the head and apply a VERY thin layer of Ultra copper RTV to either side of the gasket and then tighten them back down. I do this without problems.
