Hooker longtubes...coat or not to coat?

I've seen alota people with the coated LT's, is the only reason to coat the the looks? i realize that the coating "CAN" reduce heat/interior and engine bay temps, and "MAYBE" provide for better combustion......but is this all a real effect......my question is...is the coating worth it?

coating will help prevent melting stuff under the hood. also it wasnt that much more to get jet hot longtubes. only 513 on the last gp.

You can order them directly from Jet Hot, just go to their website.

i ran uncoated LTs and it melted a hole in the bottom my A/C evaporator. i had to fiberglass it back together when i had my heads off, and it was still a bitch to do it.

Headers are a pain in the but to do. This is the type of mod that you should do right the first time to avoid problems or having to do it again in the future. Coated headers are worth it especially since the JetHot LT's are so reasonable.

I got my JEt HOT LT's for $492 shipped to my door. This was NOT a group purchase price, It was just a single order by me.
I went to the website and got the phone number to JET HOT and ordered them over the phone. HEres the website your looking for

Spend the extra cash and get them coated. You'll thank yourself later on.

If you take a look in the group purchase forum you can find the post from JetHot with contact numbers for ordering. You can get with or without emissions hookups. Mine were just under 500$ without emissions, shipped to my door.
