Does anyone know why it shot black smoke out of the exhaust at the top of 2nd? My SES light is on if that matters.

I'd say many to most LT1's will puff a little smoke like that. Mine does it even with new valve seals at the cam swap, but doesn't consume any oil. May be the rings too, not sure, but its normal.

Nice clip. That sounds a bit throatier than my car but thats probably due to the bullet you have and I cant hear my exhaust inside the car THAT well....but i hear its really loud lol. Anyway, that sounds really sweet but dont know what to make of that black smoke. That was a little odd.
