Hooker catback people inside.

I am pleased about the way the system sounds. Because it sounds great. But while driving the car it rattles under the car and it is pretty annoying. It is hitting right where the i-pipe meets the y-pipe. Where it connects the y-pipe is just resting on that black metal bracket that goes under the exhaust. That is where it hits most. But i hear noises from the exhaust hitting from where around the muffler is also. Does anybody else have this or had this problem. How was it fixed. It is so annoying i'm thinking of getting a different catback now and i only had it for 3 weeks.

I had a problem similar to that but I found out it wasnt hitting anything. The whole exhaust system was shaking because someone welded some of the pipe wrong. It had leaks in it causing this rattling noise. Almost as if a rock was in the muffler or something. That was my problem. Had a guy weld it (who knew what he was doing) and it works and sounds fine now. Hope it helps.

So you think it would be okay to bend the brace thing.

I beleive mine hits in a couple of spots. But it is just resting on the tunel brace. They bmr sells a aftermarket one. Has anybody used one of these. I was thinking of getting it to see if it had more clearance. So i wouldn't hit.

I just took the tunle brace off! It started to **** me off so I yanked it. Your pipe will not fall or sag, at least mine didn't.
