Hooker Cat Back

What are your opinions on the hooker cat back? Does anyone have a soundclip. Also, how does it compare to the other exhausts as far as performance. I was going to go with flowmaster (cheap), but from what I hear it doesn't offer the performance gains, and where I'm from everyone has flowmaster. If I don't like the sound or performance of a hooker system, what other comparable systems are there (as far as price goes)?

ive heard nothing but good things about hooker, but another cheap, loud system would be Loundmouth

I have the Hooker catback for my car and I love it. However, I installed a cutout just to give it and extra kick. However, I'm not using mine anymore since I decided to go true duals when my longtubes arrive.

I love my Hooker...cat-back. Sounds great and keeps more money in your wallet for other mods.

I love my Hooker Just like everyone says it is calm at idle and cruising but screams at WOT. I also read once that a cat-back adds some HP with stock cat-forward but if you do headers the cat-back adds relatively little power. Just food for thought.

it sounds even better after a couple thousand miles!

after 2,500 it gets pretty loud, even with a 3" cat

i saw a mother on the sidewalk desperately clutch her toddler to her as i went by recently, not even opening up just 3,000 rpm half throttle

LoL .. looking forward to it braking in. I just put on mine 200 miles ago. Sounds good, even for a dual cat car.

No interior resonance, nice clean sound without being obnoxious.

I myself was looking at the loudmouth when i got the hooker and i love it sounds great. I just need longtubes and no cat to make it better (and a big cam )

Thanks, looks like I'll be going with the hooker system.
