I have a block that has 50K on it. I can still see cross thoese lines from when it was originally bored, so it's in good shape. I don't want to assemble an engine with 50K on te block without at least freshening up the walls. One wall has a VERY SMALL scratch in it, it's not deep all. How much metal will honing remove, or should I look into boring it out little?
