Okay guys, I think I've decided what cam I'm going to go with. The cam, set up, and prices are as follows. It will be $700 dollars total including installation. I have a buddy of mine that is going to put it all in for $300. Here it is:

Comp Cams TN224XL Camshaft 224/230 duration @ .050", .536"/.544" lift with 1.6 rockers, 112lsa. - $247.97

LT1 Camshaft Swap Gasket Package
Fel-Pro Intake Gaskets, Fel-Pro Timing Cover Gasket, Opti Seal, Crank Seal, Water Pump Drive Seal. - $34.92

EX Components 612 Single Coil Extreme Performance Valve Spring Kit
fits stock head without machining, includes lightweight retainers and locks - $109.97

What do you guys think? I'm wanting something that isn't TOO big but isn't too mild either without sacrificing driveability and without losing and high or low end. I don't plan on getting heads for a while, so I don't want to wait. TIA for your opinions.

i dont see 1.6 rr's listed there.....do you already have them?

youd get a better deal on the parts if you jump in on combos cam kit group purchase thats going on right now.......its a hell of a deal and has all the stuff you want plus pushrods!

even if you already have the 1.6 rr's, you can resell them after you get them, and saved money in the end.
