Holy Crap I am BACK!!!!

Going to get me a 1997 WS6 Black on Black T/A tomorrow!!!!!! It has been 6 years since I sold my '89 and I have missed it since. T-Tops, 6 spd, Monsoon Sound etc etc.... Not much sleep tonight. Quick question...... What gearing is in the T/A. I had 3.42s in my '89.

waterpump leak is a good one to look for
oil leaks is another

opti update doesnt mean its fool proof
water leaks from water pump
oil leaks
Watch the temp in traffic the fans should pull it back down but they do tend to run kinda warm when there sitting or moving slow

Look out for intake manifold leaks as well,especially the back of them.

M28 = 2.73
M29 = 3.23

Look at the RPO in the glove box. For all we know the car could be a M6 swapped auto. Then again it could also have aftermarket gears for all we know.

GU2 = 2.73
GU5 = 3.23
GU6 = 3.42

update: Looked at the WS6 and it was in poor condition. Luckily he had a 2000 Camaro Z28 6spd T-Top on the lot. Love driving this thing!!!!!
