holley throttle body

hey guys, i was at a swapmeet today and bought a 58mm holley throttle body, well I bought the 112-507 for a tuned port and i am building a lt1 all in all the 112-509 and the112- 507 look close but there are a couple differences, I was wondering if there is a way to still use it on my lt1 (any mods etc)

thanks Jeff

Re: holley throttle body

I don't know about the TPI but I bought a BBK off a 93 and all I had to do was swap the baseplate that houses the IAC. The stocker from a 94+ TB bolted right on.

The Holley LT1 TBs had some sticking issues so just be aware and think about what you want to do about it if you have a problem too. I am NOT bashing the Holley, all the aftermarket TBs I am aware of have some sort of issues, far as I know ALL of the aftermarket castings have issues in the IAC circuit that need to be addressed for best idle.

Quit complaining.

If no one here knows the answer perhaps you should call Holley themselves. The interweb doesn't have all the answers.

With that attitude, you're lucky you got any help at all. You bought the wrong throttle body, and your pi$$ed off at everybody here because they didn't make the same mistake and can't tell you how to make it work.
