Holley TB question
Holley TB question
Does anybody know if it's possible to order specific parts from Holley? I checked on their website but didn't see anything except Ford TB repair kits. I'm looking for the hinged piece that the throttle cables connect to, if anybody has any ideas. Also, this would bolt right onto a stock TB correct? I just want to replaced that cheap stamped steel thing, but not really ready to pay $380 for a full TB when right now now it wouldn't be all that much gain. Thanks for the help.
Are you saying you want to buy the machined aluminum throttle cable "quadrent" and the attached shaft from a Holley TB, and use it in a stock LT1 TB? Why?
I'd be surprised if the shaft from the Holley would fit into the holes in a stock TB. And based on disassembling my Holley, the aluminum quadrent is not removable from the shaft, or from the throttle stop lever that is also attached to a groove on the inside of the quadrent.

Yeah, that's the piece I want to get. The stock piece is just really thin, and actually mine is a tiny bit bent. The Holley piece is machined, not stamped, and it just looks stronger. plus it's look cleaner too, a little bit of dress up.
I didn't realize it wasn't removable. What part do you mean by the throttle stop lever, the piece that it rests against at idle? That is removable on a stock TB, it's held on by the top right TB bolt, that's why I ask.
