I have noticed this past week that the price of Holley's TB have gone
down by $150 to $200. on Thunderracing down to $340, others lower.
Is there something going on , quality or otherwise I (we) do not
know about.? If you know please respond.

I've seen a lot of arguments over which TB is the best.

Did any sort of consensus ever come out of all those arguments?

 

I am not arguing about which is best, as I have a Holley Billet Alum
TB 52mm upgrading to a 58mm. Just that last year I paid almost double
than what it is selling for now, and just wondering why.

 

Looks like the right price... I think I paid $325 for mine from T Byrne about 6 years ago.

I was just wondering, so I asked. It's not off-topic either, because if the prices are changing for the better then the question of relative quality becomes very important.
