In the part of the intake just past the filther but before the MAF sensor, I forget what it's called, theres a hole, kind of like a small tube that's supposed to go somewhere. I don't know where it's suppsoed to go, I think it might have something to do with the EGR, which was physically removed from my car before I even got it.

Could this opening screw anything up? I figure that because it's before the MAF sensor it can't do much harm. But it could make the airflow more turbulant I would think. I'm guessing I should just tape it up or something. What do you guys think? Could it do any harm? My car has been running rich.

 

I believe it hooks up to the AIR pump. You should cap it thought or you will be allowing your motor to breath unfiltered air.
