Ho2s
Ho2s
Ok guys hooked up a tech 2 scanner to this baby this mroning. God
code 0013 Bank 1 hi2s circuit
code 0044 bank 1 ho2s lean exhuast indicated
i also goes left ho2s bank 1 with 452 mV
and band 2 was reading 954 mV
I tested the o2 sensor and got low o2 sensor activity
Left o2 sensor variation did not toggle during preconditioning
Also you can switch from closed loop and open loop with the scanner and when i had it in open loop it ran fine and when i switched it to closed it ran rough (that might be vis a virsa) So i think i need an ho2s. Would this affect my accerleration when i get to a wot. Cuz when i have it WOT at the end of the gear it stops and starts to misfire i have to left off the accerlator and jump on it again to pick up speed. Is this do to the lean mixture. And it not having enough gas to go? And where is the cheapest i can get an o2s and shoudl i avoid a used one?

your O2 mv rating should not be constant, they can vary from about 50MV to about 900MV and they should bounce back in forth from above 450 to below 450 very quickly. This indicates that your computer is adding and subtracting fuel to contantly keep your A/F ratio near stochiomitry (sp?) approx 14.7-1 but It will be slightly lean at idle for emissions reasons and go to about 12:1 at WOT for more power. I would ask in the PCM section but I believe the PCM ignores O2 readings during WOT However. I would check your fuel trim. If you have a highly enriched condition on the left side it indicates the PCM is trying to compensate for the Lean condion that the #1 O2 is telling it about. If you have access to a gas analizer see if you are running rich on that side. If you are, its a bad O2 giving a false input to the PCM, if it is ok then your O2 is ok and you have an actual lean condition likely caused by a clogged injector. BTW if you have any exhaust leaks upstram of the O2s you need to fix them for any of this info to be relevent.... Hope that helps. Or take the easy way out and change the #1 O2 and see if that fixes it...
