Hmmm
Hmmm
Will a cutout help on a stock exhaust when I race?
What are the symptoms of a alternator going. At speed my voltage is 13 or above, with teh ac on and at idel it will once in a while dip to the top of the red area..

I think your voltage problem could be either the battery or the alternator. Best thing to do is take it to a place like AutoZone and they'll check it for you for free.
Also, your topic subject is "Hmmm" and on another post you just made it is "If you could". Just FYI... there are some very helpful people here who don't even click on topics which provide nothing useful in the subject line. I think it would be in your best interest in the future to make your topic subject give a summary of what's contained in your post... might help you get more/better responses to your questions.

a cut out will help on a stock exhaust, specially since the reason the stock is so quiet is due to the restrictive muffler. heck you'd probabloy see a bigger gain by adding a cutout to a stock exhaust than you would to an already free-er flowing cat back.
and of course it sounds better...
as for the alt. , like brent said...take is someplace...i know Napa checked mine once with it right in the car. is it making any squealing like the bearings are going?
