I just took my car out of storagge 2 weeks ago and my MPG doesn't seem normal. I always figure out how many MPG I got whenever I fill up, and the last two times I was a shade under 14!! I usually get 17- 19. It sat in a garage all winter with some fuel stabilizer in it. Is it possible that old gas with the stabilizer in it still could make me get below average gas mileage? Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks, Rob

 

I would put some fresh gas in it, and add some fuel system cleaner as well. Until I ran a few tanks through it I wouldn't worry too much!!

With cold weather and the oxygenated fuel they sell this time of year I'm not surprised to see lower mileage, It should even out as it warms up.
