Thanks Dave, but nothing to be jealous about. I'm just glad that I didn't get caught up in the hype about big flow #s and duration. My cam is smaller than a cc306 and I believe it will outrun any 350 with one. My heads only flow 248 on intake and 188 on ex I think. That is with stock size valves. Most people would say that I couldn't make much power. We'll see after she gets tuned this weekend

What size injectors do you have and do you have any flow #s on your heads?

James

Hi Larry, I dynoed at Performance Dyno Tune in Chesapeake, near greenbreir. It's a new shop and they have some serious cars. I think it's 75 for 3 pulls with WB A/F. I'm not sure about the price for tuning. They do seem to be pretty sharp.
How is your car running? Are you ever on this side of the water?

I am over there everyday at the shipyard. What track do you go to? I go to Dimwiddie now and then. I know Gary from churchland that has a 95 or 96 TA. I have simular flow #s to you, had a guy in Hampton do them.

I'm not allowed to say Churchland any more Larry. James and Mike (GMRULZ) were offended by my use of my community as my location.

<-------Check out my profile.

See ya at the track or maybe the dyno they do seem to know their stuff and are very friendly.

How can it make as much as a stroker motor with a 6 speed? because the right combination of parts will beat a pile of money and a pile of parts out of your Summit catalog every day!

Stock injectors, and no flow numbers on my hacked-up heads. I was too embarrassed to see what they'd do, although I'm really curious how good of a job I did on them. I don't think I took enough out of the exhaust side, and I probably took too much out of the divider wall on the intake side. I saw Pat's heads before they went on his car (Lidless97z), and came to these conclusions after looking them over. I wish I had the $$ to go with a similar combo as you and Pat. I'd be real curious what an M6 car would put down.

Thats alot of power from a small cam/low flowing heads/auto tranny You sound unsure of the head flow numbers. Did you get a flowsheet?

Yes he has a flow sheet or at least the results. Actually the head porter probably has this set of head #'s memorized.

Believe me when the numbers came up at the dyno on the monitor even before the graph was printed you could say there were several looks of shock on the faces that were present.

The owner of DTP (DynoTuning Performance) took the T/A for a ride and made several passes up and down the street before coming back. All he could say was that"This car is SICK" over and over. It was kind of cool to see someone that works on cars day in and day out react to a NA LT1 like that.

How you doing Gary? Do you have dyno #s on your car yet? We were going to the track this friday, but my Brother-in-Law blew out his rear, supercharger and Dr's finally took its toll. If you are going to the dyno shoot me an email and I will try to make it.

Did not make it to the dyno yet, I need to make a few adjustments before I get over there but I'll shoot you an email or PM before I go.

That 10 bolt held up for quite a while!!! What 1 1/2 to 2 years??? Not bad!

Yeah, those #s are right on. They have stock size valves and were flowed without a pipe. You should see the #s off of the "BIG NAME" heads that have been on this bench. They were all very dissapointing. He actually got 260 at .550 lift on stock size valves, but felt that the port was opened up a little too much for my compression. It's not all about the cfm. Think about how fast that air is gettin it past those stock size valves. He did not ream out the short radius on the intake either. Eric knows what he is doing. He ported Joe Overton's heads and he's running 9.86 on motor with a LT1
As far as the cam, it's not exactly "off the shelf". Joe had it custom ground for me. Boy does it make some tq all the way across the board
