Cool Hit the dyno today

Well I just wanted to check the A/F on the car so that I could adjust the timing. The car is on STOCK tune and is pulling timing and does not like the converter too much. I have a vig 3600 and the TQ management is kinda killing me with it. I knew if the A/F was close I could play with the timing and cut out the retard.

Anyway, the A/F was almost perfect, which was hard to believe. The drag radials kinda hurt me because of the give in the sidewalls, but she still managed to put down 399.1 at the wheels. You could see the effect of the tires and see the car kinda hopping. She would have been well over 400 if I had street tires on. The tq was kinda off. We don't know whether it was my stock tuning with the stall or the dyno's response to it. It pulled like a raped ape all the way to 6500 and was still gaining when it pegged the rev limiter. Hard to believe it did this with a 2.5 str stall:eyes:

I guess that it's not bad for a set of stock "shed" heads and some tech help from Joe O. Eric and Joe really know thier S$$T.
Oh yeah, it's a 96 T/A with a stock 84000m bottom end with just a set of ported stock heads and custom cam, along with the rest of the boltons.

I am very happy! I can't wait to get her tuned and hit the track!

Sweet.
How come you are making so much power without a stroked motor?
Scott's got a 385ci LT1 and only gets 406-413.

How much was the headwork and cam? I want 400 at the wheels too.

Havn't been to the track yet, I need SFCs and a custom DSL. It will be SOON.

Hey Manny. It doesn't hurt to have someone like Joe helping out with the combo. It's very simple, it all works together. I bet she'll see around 420rwhp after this weekend. That run was make with stock tune and the car pulling timing because of all of the valvetrain, cam, and exhaust noise. Also have not tuned for the vig 3600. Imagine what I would have put down with a 6 speed like 385
