Last night I was on the free doing ~70 dont really remember but anyways, I was wondering about how many RMP's I should be turning with a stock rear end? I was turning lime ~2100-2300 is this normal for 3.23?

 

I was just testing my car and at 65 i was at 2100 rpm's so your close.

 

Ok good cuz I was just making sure. I'm going on a trip soon and don't want the engine to be way up there for awhile. Thanks a lot for your help

 

Sounds about right.3.23 gears are about 300rpm more than 2.73.The only way to be out if gears were changed and not changed by tuning/ programming or different diameter tires.

Are those tach readings--since the stock tach is 200-300 high. Just wondering---my M6 w/ 410s runs about 2 grand at 70mph in 6th. Seems like I should get better milage than an A-4 with 3.23s. Does that sound right?
