High temps in a 95 TA
It's my sister's 95, it's an auto with mods being shorties and pulleys. She has recently put in a new radiator and a new stock thermo and changed the temp sensor, yet it is still overheating. What are other things for us to check for? She is across the country, so I can't do any checks myself.

Re: High temps in a 95 TA
I know this might sounds stupid, but it happened to me. There are 2 small hoses under the radiator cap, they are the same size, and are very easy to mix up. I did it on mine, and it overheated BAD after my new radiator. Check to make sure the top hose runs down to the coolant reservoir, if it doesn't then there is your problem. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice. The temp sensor was also changed recently, and the fans, I'm told were said to be checked as well. We'll check on that hose issue and I will also find out if the system has been bled.
Any more possibilities? Nothing ever pcm related right?

Re: High temps in a 95 TA
how about im almost 100% sure you didnt bleed the system enough... I had the same problem for almost a week, i ended up bleeding my system a total of 7 times, air in your heads would cause your gauge to go up to 260 like nothing. And around 260* you start warping heads, and im sure you dont want that. When my system needed bled, i didnt waste anymore time i went straight to the dealership to have them "vacuum" bleed it. 2 weeks later my water pump took a shyt on me, just my luck, but i would defff try bleeding the hell out of my system, and when you think you have all the air out, do it three more times... good luck
