The speed limiter can be changed by reprogramming the PCM.
What gear were you in? With 3.23 gears, a 4L60E would be at 120mph at 5,100rpm in 3rd gear. At 5,800rpm it would be at 136mph. The stock LT1's were capable of 156mph top speed. Obviously, you'd have to be in overdrive, and at about 4,800rpm.
Not recommended for the street..... would be unfortunate for an innocent motorist or pedestrian to be killed.
