High RPM Stumble, Need some advise inside!

Well, I hadnt driven my T/A in a day or two, so today I uncapped my cutout, and went for a spin, after it warmed up (180), I started having fun.

And I noticed from about 5.3k rpms and up, there was a stumble.

I figure it is either the opti or the plug wires, neither of which look like they have ever been replaced (92k miles old), and who knows what the plugs look like (might be 92k miles old too).

Anyone know if any of the cheaper options could be the culprit, because I dont want to shell down on a Opti now.

-James

PS- car seemed to idle a lil higher today, might have been because the motor was cold at the time i noticed it, but it was at almost 1k, and that is in a automatic in gear!

most of the high rpm stumbles turn out to be bad wires. If the plugs and wires have never been changed, try swapping them out .

same problem but also low RPM 2-3krpm

Having the same problems. I switch from MSD super conductors wires to Taylor wires. I bought another MSD coil pak, still nogo. Hate to say it's the optic spark. plugs are 6months old. NGK TR55. should I replace these plugs again
