High RPM miss... FIXED

Well, just thought I would let everyone know this. I replaced my opti because at around 5000+rpms I was getting a big blip on the dyno, and I could feel it "blip" at the track, seriously would slow down for just a second and then rev back up. New opti in, went to track and ran .1 better than previous opti and there was a 25mph headwind the last time at the track as well. It definitly fixed the problem. One thing opti actually fixed!

congrats. Alteast if you still get rid of it the new buyer wont need to chase the problem.

There's a reason the LS1 has 8 coils.

I still wonder why more people haven't gone with a Delteq, since the price is about equal to a new Opti + Install costs.

Did you open-up the old Opti to see what the problem is with it? Probably loose rotor screws.

I am still on the fence about my Delteq...

The car should pull until I run out of rpm. AFR is fine & it is not valve float.

this is what my dyno looked like w/ symptoms I mentioned above. New opti fixed this problem, could be a problem with yours as well (even though you are using delteq). This problem I am pretty sure was cap and rotor loose, but I havent taken it apart yet, been too buisy.
