Re: high rpm miss?

I had the same problem last fall and I changed plugs and wires.I went with AC Delco platinium plugs and MSD 8mm wires and it fixed the problem right up.

Re: high rpm miss?

I had the same problem,
First time I tried to fix it, I changed the plugs and wires including the wire from the coil to the Opti. Problem fixed.
After six months it started again, this time I bought a scantool and I got strange results on my IAT sensor, it was showing 155F when the outside air was 40, so I pulled it out and tested it, it came out just fine, I checked the voltage on the connector and it was fine as well (5V)
So I decided to just disconnect the IAT sensor, guess what.....car pulls great, no more miss/hesitation/stutter.
