High pressure hose with HP 255lph Walbro

Just like the title says....Do you need this because I ordered this from a High Pressure fuel pump from New Era Perfomance and I have been told that I will have problems with the lines out of the fuel pump....something like they will explode or something.......Has anyone had any problems with this? Thanks

Michael

I haven't had any issues with my HD Walbro 255 lph pump and I have stock fuel lines. I also ran my stock fuel pump with an in-line TRex pump for 35K miles with no issues. The HD unit doesn't supply more pressure, it's designed to maintain flow rate under higher pressures. Standard duty pumps will loose flow (i.e. instead of 255 lph, they may only deliver 200 lph) when used under higher pressures.
