high idle after start?

high idle after start?
ive noticed sometimes after ive run the car for alittle while and go to start it back up. the RPM's jump up to about 1.5-2k and takes a bit to come back down.
Why is this?
Also when i put it into gear it immedialty drops. I have a stall, so its not like a BAM and it goes like a car would without a stall.

You need to clean the IAC valve in first place.....my first an donly guess..

how do you clean it?
My car jumps to like 1400 then slowly dies down when I fire it.
