green leak!!!! and lt1 hard to start

yesterday i put my intake manifold back on because i wanted to paint it black. i put everything back into place and ran the engine alil. while i was in te car i heard a hissing noise and saw that coolant was spraying out of the small screw on the top. i tightened it and that was the end of that....i thought. i drove for about 50 miles and it ran well. then i got home and a few minutes later i saw a pretty large amount of coolant on the ground in the frount passanger side. i looked for a leak and couldent find any. i could hear a gargling sound. i also tryed to start my car and it is VERY hesatent to start. sometimes it wont even start at all. can someone plz help me out?? i need my car for work and school tomorrow!!! thank you....gil

Did you take off your coolant cross over tube?? Maybe your cracked it, or you didnt tighten the bolts hard enough... But I am at a loss, I assume all you did was remove the intake manifold, I also assume you have done a tb coolant bypass.

Aside from the thermostat housing, and the coolant cross over tube, there should be no touching of the coolant system.

You need a coolant pressure tester, while the car is reletivly cool so you can take the radiator cap off. Pressurize it, 14-18 psi or so and see where the leak is coming from, its had when the car is running.

Could be somewhere stupid, but you gotta know where it is to fix it.
