high flow cat

What is the best cat out there that flows almost freely and doesn't restrict sound too much. I'm not going to put a straight pipe inside it, i want to be legal.

Same here. I had a ton of people asking me what I did to my car after they heard it. Some people thought I bought an entirely different muffler. I just simply got the cats taken off.

Not where I live. There is a rumor going around that they will be brought back in the next year or so. I sure hope not.

I really dont think its worth it to get a high flow cat, its expensive and you might receive what a 5 hp gain if that?

I can understand why you want them on, but hi-flow cats are just too expensive for me. If I had emissions, I would just keep my cats on. Not worth the money to get hi-flows.

dude, just cut the fricken thing off the same day you get your emissions sticker and put in a straight pipe all for about 60-70 bucks... then, when your sticker expires, have the thing welded/clamped back in... take the emissions test, and repeat...

no biggy

if by some chance you get pulled over and they happen to check under the car, it's a very expensive fine. i think about 10 grand. right now i dont' have a cat on and I've seen hi flows for about 150 bucks or less.

better yet, instead of buying the hi flow cat,buy an aftermarket y-pipe and an orp and you can just unhook the stock one after emissions and hook up the stock one before. It wouldnt take too long.
