? on high efficiency oil filters.

I just want to know how many people use a high efficiency oil filter (AC PF 35 or PF 1218) on their ride. With the increased size of the oil filter, it should have more filtering media, hold more oil and overall supply to the engine. This is a good thing right? I also need to know if, I do use this type of oil filter do I have to increase how much oil I put in? Please help me shed some light on this matter. Thanks.

Yes, with the bigger oil filter you'll have to add about an extra 1/4 of a quart of oil. I run 5.25 qts of oil with the longer filter on my car (I'm running the K&N HP3002, which is the same size as the PF35&1218)

Bigger is definitely better, it will flow more oil under all conditions, which will lower your engine wear.

Thanks for the reply. With more oil flowing in, will this situation cause my oil pump to wear out prematurely?

Not at all, it won't be a problem.
