High Bolton dyno #'s but car is a turd!

Dyno numbers are in sig. Car ran the time in sig with only a cutout and rockers. Now I have LT's and the car is a turd, but put down some monster numbers. The best time I have been able to get out of the car is a 13.63@104.00 with the LT's. Best 1/8 mph has been 83.9. Although I did have 125lbs of junk in my trunk on the new runs because the track prep was so bad that I could not floor 1st or 2nd gear without the extra weight. However I have run at a better hooking track with slicks on the car and could still only go 13.5@103.6mph. What a freaking joke. This thing should easily go 108mph in the quarter! BTW, there is a lot of power left in this combo. The a/f ratio was at 12.3. I love the dyno numbers, but I really don't care what the thing dyno's if I run poor track times. Anyone have any ideas why the thing might be running so slow?

good numbers

you didnt happen to be running datamaster during the run to see how much if any knock was occuring. because if you installed headers you are goignt o have a bit of knock and that will lill your times.

but the car is a 13.0 or 13.1 if you get a 1.90 60'

download datamaster if you dont have it already and do a wide open run and see waht its doing.

my times are in sig but i dont have any dyno numbers. i would say i have much more that you if any.

Complete list of mods are...

Jet hot LT's
Cutout
LT4 KM
Descreened Maf
1.7rr's with better springs
pcmforless tune
K&N air filter
Smooth Bellow
Mcleod single disc

A/F 12.3

I am pretty sure 325rwhp is easily attainable. My buddies SS picked up 7rwhp going from 12.3 to 13.0. I can still do a TB bypass, Electric WP, Pullies, and maybe an aluminum DS. But, I think I may be done modding this car with it running as slow as it does. My 94 formula trapped 107 with shorties and 1.6 rr's putting down 297rwhp.

Is Datamaster free for obd2 cars? I haven't been able to find any free software for this car. 13.0 is really not what I was shooting for with this car. I think I am either getting some knock or valve float because the car doesn't run very well up top. Maybe the headers and ypipe were not banging all over the place on the dyno like they do when racing or cruising around and I am getting knock?

put a resistor in place of the knock sensor and see if that helps.
Does it just stop pulling up top or what?

Yeah the car drops like a brick at 5800rpms. When I first put the LT's in the car the car felt unbelievably fast, but eventually turned in to the slow car I have today. I dyno'd only to try and find out what was wrong with my car, but to my suprise it put down some good power. My exhaust bangs like crazy, so I think I will fix that first. I am going to have a buddy do some logging for me to try and find out what is going on. I think I am going to replace the opti and coil as well since they are still stock with 47k on the car. Our only good track is closed until some time in January, so it will be about a month before I can run it again.
