Thumbs down Hi Pro MAF

Had my 97 T/A on a dyno 3-26. With the Hi performance MAF it was making 249hp @ 5000. Removed the GMS & installed the stock MAF minus honeycomb screen & the results where, 260 hp @ 5100 rpm. Also with the GMS MAF a/f ratio dropped to9 / 1 where the throttle was tipped. Anyone else had any experinces with these units ??

No personal experience, but every one I know that has gotten a hi-perf MAF has had trouble with it. Didn't matter what brand either. Your better off with the factory unit.
