hi/lo setting fan switch...

ok...i started looking into making my own fan switch...but i can only find instuctions on how to do it to OBD-II cars...i was wondering whether or not i can make one for my car with both high and low settings, or is that only an OBD-II thing??

Yes it can be done on OBD1 cars -- did you try doing a search for "fan switch install" or something of the likes? I've seen this topic before so I think you can find more info that way.

ive done a lot of searching tonite...i just wasnt quite sure about the hi/lo thing...thanks for the reply though..

It works the same on OBD1 or 2. The same color wires operate the fan relays on either one.
