....just kidding!

I too have to chime in here. Shoebox has helped me a few times and I've seen countless other posts where he has as well. I know this is a "thanks shoebox" post but also with brent being active in this thread I have to thank him too for all the help he's provided here and on his website.

btw he has good customer service should you purchase a headlight gear from him.

I'll add my .02 here also. I needed a part. Went to my local Chevy parts department and the guy could not find the part. He showed me his display and it was not there. So I thanked him, went home and pulled up Rob's part number list. Got the part number I needed and went back to the guy gave him the part number and up popped the part I needed. The look on his face was "priceless". Thanks Shoebox.

Shoebox is the man.....always there to help, and like Brent said, his posts aren't 1-liners...they're always detailed.

THANK YOU SHOEBOX! I couldn't have installed my window motor without you

Not to drag this "non-tech" post on any longer, but I think both CZ28.com AND shoebox.com should have PayPal donation links (could it really hurt??). I can honestly say that they're the two most helpful sites on the internet for LT1 parts/knowledge. I can't count how many times I've ran from the shed to the house to jump on one of these two sites to get some info about a problem I had encountered. EVERY time, I found the solution too.

I'm a stingy bastard, but even I'd donate to Shoebox's site. As for CZ28, what about registering for an avatar? I need to do it myself, but that's just the same as a general donation.

OK, enough horn tooting...

Cool

I don't truly understand what's happening here, but if there is a monitary issue to be resolved, then lets talk about that.I didn't read all the posts, but it seems this site may be looseing money, and, thier tech people, because of one reason or another. You administators, and professional mechanics(Shoebox) ,have more than created the most comprehesive website known to man for our cars, and should be rewarded for this.
If you where to turn this into a club(members only),I wouldn't hesitate to donate $100.00 a year to be a part of this.(Club dues). Then, the folks that contribute the most would have an incentive,as they would recieve some of this$,because without them(shoebox-Brent),I would be at the mercy of those who would take advantage of me..Well,I've blown off enough steem.I'd like to think that besides our differences,we are trully a family, because I really do care what happens here, even though I don't have all the answers, I feel I help a tiny bit.My02(This is the best forum in the world).(Saved me a lot of dough).
