Hey SHOEBOX....I gotta ask.

So what your story man? What do you do? My first thought was like...maybe a certified GM mechanic or something. But I have a friend that is one and teaches at UH and a brother in law who a mechanic also and I didn't even bother to ask them to help me because I know how it is. no one wants to work 40+ hours a week and do it on his days off. I respect them enough for that. (they did call to check in once in awhile ). So....you know too much, buy yet I'm sure you can't do this for a living......if so your way too dedicated. WHOA....But I'm sure I'm speaking for all of us when I say we're sure glad you're here with Fred and all the other Guru's.

Anyway I've been wondering for awhile and had to ask. Sorry guys if it looks like I'm suckin some A but I have no reason to and was just curious. (Plus I'm bored at work )

But thanks to all the gurus that saved my ars and my pocketbook more than a few times I truely appreciate it.

this IS his job. He gets $10 everytime he helps someone on here, or $15 if he helps someone and his name is in the Subject line.

Boy, would that be nice!

At the moment, I am self employed after taking an early retirement offer a couple of years ago from SBC/ASI (Maintenance Engineering). That is why I can spend so much time on this board. If I were to put a PayPal donation button on my Tech Page, would anyone click it?

I have been playing and learning about the 4th gens since I bought mine used in 1998. I was doing car repair before I could drive.

Rob,
the paypal donation idea is great. You can put something as small as $5 on there but it will still help. I'll click it!
