hey shoebox.....

is it bad to leave the back of the intake leaking, i mean i think mines been leaking since i got it (very very minor oil drop) since 1999 with no major power loss and i get good gas mileage still..... think i should change it? me only changing it too... hehe

If you have a manual transmission, you run the risk of oil getting on the clutch. It's easy enough to repair, so why not do it?

yeah i got a manual, im a newbie and very scared of breaking stuff on my baby, stock 97SS too.... love your neat site too... im in no hurry either and if there were detailed instructions, better search your site better , ill give it a shot...
