sounds like fuel pressure to me. rent a cheap gauge from a parts store.
i was thinking that too, but if it was low on fuel pressure would it also cause you to smell gas when you do try to get on it? you can smell it but very very faintly
. so i should start with maybe gutting the cat or removing it?

yea i found a friend who can scan obd1 cars and he has a fuel pressure gauge and tonight i'll try the mist trick. thx
