Hey Brent, can you make a sticky about bashing!!!!
We all can appreciate how much trouble a person can have when trying to obtain parts or service or what ever. But this bashing like the latest "I got screwed" thread is rediculous!!! I don't recall reading one of these since I joined the board, that had a legitimate right to "BASH" anyone.
We know this bulletin board is here to help any and everyone. I know we all have freedom of speech and so on, and some people who have had problems with suppliers can "help" others so they don't get taken. But ultimately, this is an engine specific board. Sure parts purchased, or should I say, tried to have been purchased, can be for this engine. But perhaps you could put up a sticky about "WARNING, THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BASH ANYONE OR ANY COMPANY"
I realize you have 3 stickys already. Obviously the TTT sticky should remain but one of the other 2 can go if you need room. What's your take on this?

Well, I really don't see the need to make a sticky about bashing. For one, it's not allowed, and two, there really isn't a problem with it in this forum. That one post you referenced got a little out of hand and that's why it was closed.
There is a difference between purposeful "bashing" and providing negative feedback/information about ones experiences. If any post on here is viewed as an intent only to bash someone or some vendor, it will be closed immediately. Not all negative type posts are bashing posts... in fact, hardly any that I see are. They are only people providing their own experiences. The post you are talking about I probably should have closed earlier yesterday than I did because it degraded pretty rapidly and what needed to be said had already been said (minus the resolution). Even as bad as it got, I don't believe it was the intent of the original poster to purposely bash Dal... he was providing his negative experience.
Also, in the future, things like this would be bettered handled via email
