I think anyone who's not an expert engine builder already can glean a lot of good info from these two.

"The Step by Step Guide to Engine Blueprinting" by Rick Voegelin
"How to Rebuild Small-block Chevy LT-1/LT-4 Engines" by Mike Mavrigian

I just finished them and found a lot of good info in them. 'Course I'm not very bright anyway but......

I agree,i have the book by Mike Mavigian and it is pretty good,i only wish he went into detail on building a modified LT1.But all the same it is a good read.
