Would crank case presure from using a 150 shot make the knock sensor go off ? Can you delete the knock sensor or by pass it? Here is what I got...a93 z28 chipped car, with a NX 150 shot,no headers,3000 stall, 390 gear, on hp the car goes 13.06 on spray the best was 11.93 with it going into like a shut down mode after 2nd gear almost like hitting the rev limiter in witch I thing thats the knock sensor trying to shut the car down at times it will recover(off the n20) other times it wont.

Maybe your spark is blowing out.

A datalog will tell you if it is knock retard. No guessing.

The knock sensor won't "shut the car down".... it will just retard timing. And there is a programmed limit to how much timing it can pull. If you are getting knock and the resulting knock retard with nitrous, there's a VERY good chance its real knock.

If it feels like "shutdown", you may have a fuel problem, or you may have a spark problem as noted above.

Have you read the plugs? What are you using to retard timing when you spray? How reliable it the fuel system that supplies the extra fuel when you spray?

The plugs all look the same there a very light grey. The fuel system is stock. I do have a Mallory 685 box but not sure on how to hook it up I want to run it off my arming switch and use it for nitrous only. I guess there is a wire loom to hook this up to my coil. The coil has two plugs that lead into one. Would this be a two plug or a one plug coil ? I have been looking into the hook up on this but I'm still not sure. Im bad when it comes to wire's.

If you have a 93, its a dual-connector coil.

You need to go to the "N2O Tech" forum. There are a couple vendors who will answer your questions, although it may take a while.
