HELP! Yet another car that won't start

Car ran GREAT last night. NO problems whatsoever. Parked it for the night. This morning, it wouldnt start. Starter turns the flywheel fine. Belt drives alternatior and other pullies with no problem when starter is turning. First time i tried to start it, it caught real slow and died. Tried again, and it wouldnt catch and hasnt since. Tested fuel pressure and its fine at 40-42 psi. The only thing I can think of is the ignition coil. It was just replaced with the MSD unit about 3K miles ago. If it was the opti, Id figure it would start and run really bad. But since last night the car ran great, I cant think of it being the opti.

After I run the starter for about 5-10 sec and it doesnt start, it seems to almost catch as i stop turning the key. It will Put..Put, but wont go. Im also thinking the PCM might be bad but i just had it tuned.

I have no idea what could be wrong after running fine last night. Its my daily driver and I cant get to class without it. PLEASE help ASAP

Get a Haynes manual and start checking your voltages on the ignition circuts. Also check the battery to make sure it's fully up. Weather has been cold lately, don't know where you live, but maybe it's taken it's toll. Also check to make sure All your conections are goods since you were just messing around with it not too long ago. Don't be too quick to assume a bad pcm or opti. I did and it was my holley box which was bad. Although a new opti ect. has been nice- picked up another 3-4 mpg. Good luck. Oh yeah, do a search for shoebox's pages. He has some good info for trouble shooting the ignition.
