HELP! Window won't go up (not motor)

Well I've been having the stupid window problem. So I went and bought a new power window motor form checkers. I replaced my motor and the window STILL doesn't go up on its' own. I still have to help it up. ????????????? I'm confused. What could it possibly be. It goes down just fine but it won't go up. Please help.

Thanks

Would a bad switch cause it to slowly creep up and then stop half way? Plus it starts to go up if I help it. I really have no idea what it could be. Could it be my tack? Plus it does the same thing when I press the switch from the drivers side and the passenger side.

Thank you

it could be your motor getting weak, mine still worked and I had the same symtoms as you but with the new motor they put in it it worked a lot faster. I'd say just get a new motor check the switch and grease everything then it should work for sure

It's sad to say, but just because you put new motor in, doesn't mean that it'll work properly. Is your new motor brand new, or is it reconditioned? That's my only other guess is they sold you a bad motor the second time. It happens, and very possible. As a matter of fact, thinking about it now, that same thing happened to me, except my new motor did work for a few hours, and then it started smoking, lol. I took it back, told them about it, they gave me another motor, plus reembursed me the $40 in labor for putting the bad one they gave me in. Good luck.

Make sure any channels or guides are lubricated.

Bad Relay?

I think all the Relays and stuff for the windows are under the dash. Go to the dealer and see if they can find the diagrahm for the window wiring. I"m not sure what they gave me but I knoda had the same problem..e.ven though it turned out to be the window motor. I went to the Dealer and they pulled up all types of diagrams for the windows.

The only relay is for the express down feature.

My passenger side window is similar...I can push the button and about half way up it starts to go REALLY slow, but if both buttons are pushed for that window is goes a little faster...not sure if that is the motor or not...

O.k. Now I'm really confused. I just replaced it with yet another window motor and it STILL does the exact same thing. So now I know it's not the motor...right?? So now what could it be?????? I sprayed the track(guide) down with LOTS of WD-40 and it still won't go up unless I help it. It doesn't matter which button I use it still needs help. Could it be that my buttons are somehow broken?? or that my track is bent or something? Or is it somekind of wiring problem somewhere? I don't know.

Thanks for the replies.

Maybe a weak breaker?
Try swaping it out for another one the same size or a fuse.

A weak breaker? 3 questions.

1. Where's the breaker and what does it do?

2. Would a bad breaker or fuse only hinder the windows ability to go up and not down? Cause the window goes down perfectly.

Thank You.
