Exclamation Help what is wrong with my power steering??

Well today is the first really cold day we're having here in IL and my car is acting up go figure. I drove it over to my g/f's house and it was fine everything working alright. Well then when we go to leave about 3 hours later hop in start it up turn the wheel and it making a loud squealing sound. If i'm going down the road and barely turn it it whines. But if I come to a stop and turn it to the right completely its a real loud whine. If i'm stopped and turn the wheel back and forth it isn't as smooth as what it should be and the front end kinda shakes also. I checked the fluid last week and it was perfect. So whatcha think what money am I going to have to spend now well money I dont have of course.

Cool

Check your belt. Might be time for a new one.

first check you belt.. make sure that the tention is good and that it's STILL THERE

Check to see if the waterpump is leaking and dripping on the belt causing it to slip.

Also chek the power steering fluid to make sure that it is full.

you could ahve a bad pump, or leaking line but cheak the easy stuff first

Well even though the wind is blowing hard and its below 20deg out I still checked the ps fluid. It drained all gone which is weird b/c it had some just last week. Well anyway will fill tomorrow but where are the most common leaks at??
