Help .... what do I do now?
Help .... what do I do now?
Removing exhaust manifold on driver side. All the bolts came off fairly easy except for one. It's the bolt on the front side of the last port and the bolt is fused to the spacer(rust). I let it soak in pb blaster and tried it again and rounded the bolt. How am I going to get this bolt out??
Anyone else had this misfortune and if so how did you solve the problem. Your suggestiond are greatly appreciated.

you should have heated it up. it woulda came loose a lot quicker
yes they do.
You could grind flats on each side and try to use an adjustable wrench or smaller size.
Slot it in the middle and make a flathead screw out of it.
Or the best option might be to cut the head off the offensive bolt, then remove the manifold. If the remaining stud won't turn out by hand, you'll definilty be able to get it with a visegrip.
good luck.
