What exaclty do you have? All Z28's left the factory with a 5.7L LT1 V8, not a V6.

Re: Help with vacumm line?

If you are sure you have V6, check the label in the glove box lid, look for these codes.

L32
or
LT1

If it says L32, it's not a Z28 as Fred mentioned.

If it is a Z28, it will also have that code in the glove box. Whichever it is, there is a vacuum line diagram on the top of the radiator cover.

Re: Help with vacumm line?

To solve the problem, first, post a photo of your engine. Then post a photo of the specific vacuum line you are asking about. No one can help you with the current seemingly erroneous and vague information.

You also have to check the two signal wires coming from the Optic for a 0-5V square wave

What that has to do with a vacuum line, I don't know. An Optic?

Re: Help with vacumm line?

if he does have a z28 LT1 then i think he is talking about one of the hoses that runs from the drivers side of the intake manifold (i think thats where it hooks up) to the drivers side of the firewall where that black circular thing is ( no idea what that is haha )

Are you sure you meant to reply to this thread?

Why not delete his account? Eventually he'll stop getting new ones.

Note that he has been "banned". We actually know what we're doing. We get this crap daily and have to deal with it. In this case I was working from a 7" tablet, and it's a PITA to delete and edit threads. But I did take the time to ban him and delete his spam on the Drivetrain forum.
