UPDATE: Since I had to leave the car at my father's house, he decided to get his hands dirty and pull off the opti. He pulled it out after work in 1 hour and pulled it open to find that the screws which hold the rotor apparently vibrated loose and simply fell out. He said the rotor has no scrapes/cracks and the opti is in good shape (and it should be with only 25,000mi on it). He is going to locktite the screws back in and bolt her back up. I suppose that means I can not pick up my MSD opti Friday....
