HELP! tranny trouble

ok today im driving along and notice my car is going into gear mighty hard as if it has a shift kit in it wich it doesnt. i get on an open road and open it a litttle bit and when its going from 1st to 2nd it shakes the wole car and catches 2nd very hard. Is this just the tranny mount or is my transmision slipping? by the way its an A4 any help would be great! thanks!

Cool

Since the 94 is computer controled,(trans)my guess would be plugs and wires. My ex-boss had some simular issues, and when he replaced the plugs and wires, the trans worked fine.hope this helps.

then I would guess he jsut thought it was the tranny when his engine was actually running bad.

anyway you could be due to change your tranny fluid/filter maybe. if your trans mount broke it would make the 1-2 shift sloppy not hard and you would hear a clunk under hard acceleration.
