help! tranny might be going!

on my way to school today , everytime i was at a stop and pressed the gas down halfway , my car would make a bump bump bump noise and the gear selector and the whole console would shake vigorously. but it only happens when i hit the gas from a dead stop or if im rolling slightly . has this happened to anyone? will i need a new tranny or can it be fixed?? please help asap!thanks

If you do it yourself ,around $20.00 and half an hours time.Remove two boltts, jack up the tranny and replace.
