Exclamation Help!speedo dead

Last night I installed a fan switch per the diagram and instructionsfound here http://users.oco.net/xero/fanmod/. The fans work perfectly, the car runs great, all my gauges work fine, except for the speedo. It is completely dead and I have no idea why.
any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks, Mike

I just got back from the local chevy show at moroso which is about 15 miles away from where I live and I've now noticed that my odometer isn't working and neither is the light in my gear selector. Can anybody help me?

What year is your car? I assume A4? Any more details on what you did or took apart?

my car is a 97 a4. I did exactly what it said to do in the write up. I've gone through and checked to see if I blew any fuses or broke or disconected any wires but every thing looks ok. every thing seems to work fine too except for the things I previously mentioned, I'm completely stumped on why the speedo/odometer won't work as well as the gear selector light. Thanks for responding and if you can think of anything I appreciate it.
